I recently heard about the
Dibbuk Box; a cursed winebox from the concentration camps of World War II containing a
Dybbuk, or Jewish spirit, that brings plague and malice to everyone that encounters it. The
story and
History are, unsurprisingly, questionable but it's a great contemporary campfire story to have under your hat. Also, just as bonus trivial information, turns out that new Sam Raimi produced film
The Possession is based on the tale of this haunted box. So, if Sam Raimi finds it interesting; you probably should too, right?
