hrm.. WTF

I was browsing around looking for music news (you know, for SU) and came across this article that quickly mentions that Fiona Apple is supposedly starting on a new album with Brian Kehew (Moog Cookbook). What the hell happened to Extraordinary Machine? I mean, seriously, that whole hub-bub with the album being shelved and then being leaked all over the radio and the Internet set it up for perfect marketing and publicity. How is it that the ball was so completely dropped on that? I'm not even a huge Fiona Apple fan but c'mon - that's just bad business.
