Coupler: Our Heavenly Bodies

Almost a year ago I posted about Nashville band Coupler providing a live, improvised score to the 1925 Hanns Walter Kornblum silent film Our Heavenly Bodies. My hope was that the event wasn't just a one time event. Fortunately for me, it wasn't!

The band is now on tour screening the restored version of the German epic (courtesy of Filmmuseum Munchen) and playing along with it. It's not a massive amount of dates so go check their site for specifics or follow along to vaguely experience it via social media. Or, just watch the trailer, which is an excellent experience in and of itself.
