yk033: Forget Cassettes - Beth Demos - Vol I

I have always had a fondness for demos. Maybe it's the "collector" mentality of wanting to hear every version of a song from an artist or maybe it's the allure of hearing a raw, stripped down version of some song I'm infatuated with. Or maybe it's just simply a fascination with hearing how a musician works. Whatever the case may be, I'm very happy to announce that Forget Cassettes will be releasing Beth Demos, Vol I on my own yk records.

There's a digital verison, of course, but it just made sense to put these out on the format that they originated from - a cassette. So, 100 of them are in production now and can be pre-ordered here. You can hear NICHOLAS now (from Salt) and the rest will be online later in November. Ordering the cassette will net you two extra demo tracks - so, if you're a fan, you better get on it!

Many thanks to Beth for letting me work with her on putting this out. I think fans of her work will certainly enjoy hearing the core components that spawned so much great songs.
