It's entirely possible that Hotpipes latest release, Dust, will be their last. The band has transformed into a labor of love between Dan Sommers and Jonathan Rogers - both of whom have plenty of other projects on their respective plates. I'd say it's a shame but if Dust is truly their swan song, it's a helluva way to go out.
The vinyl edition of the album spared no expense - old school tip-on high gloss gatefold jacket with custom sleeves and subtle marbled vinyl. There also happens to be a variety of engaging videos to go along with the album - Answer Your Telephone, Magic is Everywhere, Caroline and Only The Young are all well worth your full attention.
I know I say this about every album I help release but please don't sleep on this one. Actively pursue.
