Wolf Fifth Archive

Makeup and Vanity Set posts a lot of interesting items on his feed but I was recently struck by this link to the Wolf Fifth Archive, a repository of "over 100 avant-garde LPs from the 1950s to the 1970s."
It's impossible to know where to start when looking at a vast archive of unknown music like this but I'm a fan of following the rule of thumb that if the cover art is appealing, give it a whirl. This doesn't always work but it can have good results. This 1968 Music Today LP is a great example - good cover and compelling music. This 1970 Clavecin 2.0 cover is strange and the harpsichord onslaught within is a nice pairing (abrasive but hard to tune out). This 1975 Wlodzimierz Kotonski cover and music pairing is perfect.
I know nothing of any of these artists or albums. My curiosity lies entirely in clicking on a compelling image and see what lies inside.
