Wikipedia Redesign Concept

An exercise tackling the likes of Redesigning Wikipedia can easily be overwrought. However, George Kvasnikov and Julian Krenz did a great job with this one. It's not perfect (why are the summaries buried under a click!?) but it is nicer.
Though it does beg the question, does some of Wikipedia's strength lie in its outdated design? For whatever reason, doesn't a less contemporary design exudes the sense that the information within Wikipedia is more reliable?
