I had this whole thing written up about how Why? is a band that manages to merge rock and hip-hop influences in such a way that you forget about all the horrible horrible bands from the mid-90's that tried to do the same thing. But that's an extremely unfair and shallow take on the goodness that is the forthcoming album Alopecia. Honestly I've had this thing on repeat for weeks and can't really even put my finger on what it is that I enjoy so much about it. Download "The Hollows" and if that manages to tickle your fancy, snag the other two. I hear bits and pieces of lots of bands that I enjoy in there but it's never derivative and one of the freshest things I've heard in awhile. And after all that if you still want more be sure to check the Anticon YouTube page and watch all of the "Casey and Paul" videos.
