Take some time to read this interview Wes Anderson on his
influence from Stefan Zweig on The Grand Budapest Hotel. The
Austrian was quite popular in the 1920s and 30s and to hear Anderson speak of him - was quite the character. I'm intrigued to read some works from him to see the parallels between the fantastical narrator and the practical loner; an ongoing theme with Anderson.
