A new installment of the
We Own This Town Music podcast I run is available. I am happy to report that I was successfully able to switch it up a bit this week and instead of playing 20-30 minutes of new music, I sat down with
Jordan Lehning and chatted for about an hour.
Jordan is a writer, producer and multi-instrumentalist that's been making music in the Nashville area for a
long time. He's been one of the driving forces behind
Eureka Gold,
The Non-Commissioned Officers and his own solo work - most recently
Long Live the Dead. We chat about his history, his process and his work behind the boards for folks like Caitlin Rose or Jasmin Kaset. He's also kind enough to share an unreleased song that stems from the inspiration of Pee-Wee Herman's world; which is certainly not to be missed.
Many thanks to Jordan for taking the time to chat and share his work. I am hopefully that the podcast will continue to feature creative folks like this and firmly embed the idea that Nashville is Not Just Country Music.
