I have mentioned Virginia Beach band We Are Trees before but it just came to my attention that they've released their second EP and it may have slipped past you. Girlfriend is filled with the same Daniel Rossen / Grizzly Bear style vocals (eerily so) and the same lo-fi yet crisp production. Paired together with the Boyfriend EP you get an excellent dose of melancholy pop. You can stream it, digitally procure it or wait for it on vinyl. All solid choices.
