While you're listening, cruise on over to this excellent feature from The Nashville Scene that interviews Jasmin and collaborator Brett Rosenberg, aka Quichenight, on how the album came to be. Sonically, the album is a much different affair than anything she's released before - including her work in Birdcloud and You Drive. It's less polished and more raw in production but no less authentic in the lyrical content. It's great to hear her stretch outside of her expectations and continue to deliver something unexpected and completely enjoyable.
