Troma Now

In case you haven't noticed, niche TV networks are sprouting up all over the place. I realize I've drunk the Kool-Aid but I believe we're seeing the future of television unfold in front of us. All that complaining about bundled cable packages? That's on the way out and you'll just subscribe to what you want to see. And it will be available on all your devices.

Recently, TROMA - the famously low-budget studio - launched Troma NOW, their subscription service featuring a rotating selection of movies and lost television series. The trailer, posted above, is very NSFW, but it captures their vibe so amazingly well. If you're into their aesthetic, it's got it in spades.

As I said, I'm biased towards the success of something like this as it is powered by VHX but I'm mostly just excited to see how all this technology and entertainment unfolds.
