On the whole, I love a movie trailer.* I have spent many nights cruising the kludgy interface of
Apple Trailers or trying to find a reliable YouTube channel with
all the goods just for that 3 minutes of teaser goodness. So, stumbling upon
Trailer Nite was quite a pleasant surprise. It's a full browser playback experience for, you guessed it, watching trailers. You can create a List of trailers or watch films for upcoming trailers but, really, it's just an ongoing playback of upcoming movies. I've no idea what their algorithm for selection is (or if one even exists) but it's a pleasant interface and I've already seen a few on here that I hadn't seen otherwise. The Internet is overflowing with
things to see so it's nice to have a well designed repository that acts as a nice filter for it.
* Exception here is when movie trailers cut the entire story into the trailer, which is maddening.
