Holy moly,
Tokyo 42 has a lot going for it. The
gameplay looks like a fusion of The Sims mixed with
Ikari Warriors mixed with Canabalt mixed with Fez. Okay, that's probably a wildly inaccurate way to describe it but there's a lot of familiar elements going on with the top down 3D world view and insane melee of weapons. Just
watch the trailer.
Oh, and the
Two Volume soundtrack by
Vicente Espi is
great. It's on
Spotify as well (if you prefer). I doubt I'll ever spend much time playing the actual game but I can't imagine not spending plenty of time with the music.
