Prior to encountering this blog post, I'd never heard of The Time Masters - a 1982 sci-fi animation. However, I am familiar with director Rene Laloux from his work on Fantastic Planet and artist Moebius from his work with Heavy Metal magazine. Seems like a solid match made in heavy. The entire film is up on Youtube but if you don't have time for that, just marvel at these images.
