So you OS X users may have had iCommune as a filesharing plugin for iTunes... well since it's demise it's been reinvisioned. Basically this guy Jim Speth is making a file-sharing application that only lets you swap files with people you have put onto your "friends list." He's arguing that it's fair use to let someone essentially burn a copy of a CD you own.. I'm not thinking that argument will hold too much water. Also, I expect a nice comment from Dolan on this one.
