The VHX Library
posted December 19, 2014 #
Big news over at VHX this week. We've released our iOS app and a Personal Library - both functioning as destinations to see all of your purchases in one location. I was largely involved with the iOS design, UI and UX - with plenty of help from my fantastic co-workers - and feel quite pleased with how it turned out.
The interactions are simple but manage to showcase the video work itself moreso than the VHX brand and you can Sync you purchases for offline playback. If you're planning a trip (or find yourself on the subway), just sync the video you want for offline playback and you're good to go. We've also got Airplay built in, so shooting it over to a bigger screen is no problem.
If you find yourself without any VHX purchases, just head over to Star Wars Uncut and get both crowd-sourced feature films from there, for free. Then go get the app so you can watch them wherever.
This all sounds very pitchy but I am very proud of this creation and look forward to continuing to push it forward.
