Great article & gallery on the Sketchbook of Susan Kare, the Artist Who Gave Computing a Human Face. Basically, she's the artist who designed a ton of the icons we still see today (in some permutation). I had no idea that the "Command" icon was the icon of a castle seen from above, taken from Swedish campground iconography. Craziness.
