Nick Brandt stumbled upon a lake in Tanzania that has a particular chemical makeup that petrifies certain creates due to its pH level. It's being touted as a Petrifying Lake - one that turns animals to stone upon touching it. That's a bit outlandish but the
photos he composed of the petrified animals are incredibly creepy and strangely beautiful. Also, super fitting with Halloween just right around the corner.
