I'm absolutely enamored with the work of Stefan Glerum; a Dutch illustrator doing a multitude of works that somehow seem contemporary and paying homage to styles from some time ago. Though it is unfair to compare the work to other illustrators I do get a vague sense of R. Crumb / Tin Tin from some of his characters but not as a direct rip.. more as an influence that sort of peeks through. Regardless, I am poring the work and loving everything in the portfolio (particularly the 7 Deadly Sins)... I suspect you will as well.
