The last few months I've been trying to determine how to get the We Own This Town podcasts up on Spotify. Distributing an RSS to pretty much every other destination - Apple, Google, Stitcher, etc - is very straightforward and easy. Everything I'd read about getting a podcast on Spotify said that I had to use a specific host to make it happen.

While I'm sure those services are great, I didn't want to migrate all my files, figure out a whole new workflow and start paying a lot more money to distribute 6 or more shows. To be clear, I'm not against paying for services that improve your offering, I'm just not in a position to do so at this time.

But all that is moot because Spotify launched Spotify for Podcasters where you simply submit an RSS feed and there seems to be no issue or preference around where your files are hosted.

Long story short, all the WOTT podcasts are now on Spotify.

• Friday Night Noods

I feel like quite an idiot for not stumbling into this earlier but I'm happy to found it regardless. Hopefully this makes enjoying those shows easier for everyone out there.
