spidey 2

Spent the evening last night going to the Spoon show and then nerding out for a midnight showing of Spider-Man 2. Both events resulted in improved performances from both sides.
Spoon seemed to have alot more energy this time around, played alot of the "hits", and hit upon some of the new stuff. Good stuff.
Spider Man 2 is definetly a step up from the first installment if not just because the villian is much cooler. I heard some complaints that it was too cheesy or hokey but I have protest and remind people that it's a comic book movie, it's going to be cheesy. There are a few moments that seem inappropriately drawn out and ridiculous, but overall it was highly enjoyable. I'm glad I nerded out on it.
