Going up against Photoshop or Illustrator as a viable alternative is a long, tough, road for any software.
Sketch is taking on the challenge and approaching the problem by being the "Designers Toolbox" - a vector tool that's aimed at interface design. I'm tempted to dive in but know that usurping my current toolset will be damn near impossible, no matter how great the program.
