Dunno if I've mentioned it or not but I've been working on a number of new shows for the
We Own This Town network. Within the past few months we've launched
My Fantasy Funeral and
Thick as Thieves; two worthwhile new podcasts for your listening enjoyment. Now I'm happy to announce
Nashville Demystified, a show from
Alex Steed and
Knack Factory that's about unearthing Nashville's history through the lens of being a brand new resident.
Alex is what is referred to as a "New Nashvillian." He moved here from Maine in 2019. However, he's not your typical new resident as he took it upon himself before moving to email over a hundred people that could share insights about his new home – city council members, musicians, beer enthusiasts, residents with strong opinions, makers and folks of all kind. Determined not to wander in to Nashville aloof and ignorant, he set it upon himself to learn as much as he could from a wide variety of inputs. This show is the result of those conversations.
The first episode will be available Monday, April 8th. So go steer yourself over to the
