The team at
Monkey lectric are looking to take their
Monkey Light wheel system and blow it out into a
Monkey Light Pro Display System. Basically, it's a pretty impressively robust LED light display system for your bike wheels. Kitschy? Maybe. Fascinating Technology? Definitely. Their
Kickstarter campaign does a great job of presenting the idea and the reasons why they need $180k. Ultimately, for me, the $500 backer level is just too extreme to be able to rationalize the cost but it does look like a worthwhile endeavor from a legit group of knowledgeable folk. If I were a bit more of a bike nerd, I'd be all over this.
