Awhile back, Jed invited me to a new, small, link sharing community called Nest. I tinkered with it and enjoyed the occasional interaction with Jed and some of his friends. One day it renamed to Potluck and more of my friends started showing up. Now, they've fully launched and are taking on new users.

I really enjoy the site. It's a clean, slick design. It has loads of great content and it's, in varying degrees, people I know. The potential downside is that, much like Facebook or Twitter, if it explodes in popularity - you know less and less people. The content is less vetted and it becomes more self promotional and not discussion. But, that's a concern for the future. For now, it's a highly enjoyable link sharing depot well worthy of being your new favorite distraction.
