Martin Luther King, Jr. - Remembered

posted April 4, 2008 #

Today marks forty years that have passed since the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. My friend Nick requested that I take a moment to listen to this speech given by Robert F. Kennedy announcing this death - as it carries a heavy sentiment regarding racism and the woes of our country both then and now. It is, without a doubt, a powerful speech. Interestingly enough, I hear many of the same sentiments echo'ed in Barack Obama's latest speech.
