IFC has posted a preview of the documentary MAKE; a look at four self-taught artists with their own unique perspective on life. The big draw to the film is likely the fact that it includes a soundtrack with original pieces from Sufjan Stevens and Her Space Holiday as well as music from Jim Guthrie, Oneida and others. Frankly, the film itself is interesting looking enough not to need that marketing angle. I'm the first person to be a skeptic of "folk art" but I must admit, this looks intriguing.
