Jed pointed out this Zed Shaw programming book,
Learn Python The Hard Way, and I'm somewhat tempted to dive in. I keep hearing a lot of rumblings that PHP is on the way out and I'd hate to be made obsolete because I refused to learn another language. That being said, I'm torn between Python and
Node JS; which I hear is a pretty phenomenal road to travel down.
