It's entirely possible that the
passing of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld means very little to you. Personally, I'm torn between a lack of investment in the luxury fashion world and a keen appreciation for Fashion As Art. Whenever you see a high-end fashion show with outrageous clothes and someone remarks on
the impractical outrageous designs, take a beat and remember that fashion shows aren't about clothes you're meant to buy at Target.
So, even if you never have before, take some time to
appreciate the Lagerfeld legacy. The works he created may not be something you'd ever see yourself in but they are absolute works of art. Then steer yourself on over to Netflix and watch the
Seven Days Out episode on
the Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Show. Stunning, to say the least.
