- Google releases mod_pagespeed - an Apache module designed to improve page delivery; mostly by caching images and other tricks. Watch the sample video; not ridiculously dramatic but it is faster.
- Adobe, Typography and Webkit - an extension for Webkit browsers that will enable "higher fidelity and adaptive layout" for pages. The demo video is actually pretty nuts. Kind of a bummer that its only for Webkit but apparently they're the most nimble?
