The folks at The Impossible Project continue to, slowly but surely, revitalize the world of the Polaroid. Not only have they been consistently producing new film for old Polaroid cameras but now they have released their own camera - the Impossible I-1. The body of the camera looks very similar to the classic Polaroid 600 type but they've cleverly added a ring flash and packed it full of modern technology, including an iOS app for remote triggering, double exposures and full manual control.

The gallery of images on the site taken with the camera are the exact vibe you'd hope for, just the right amount of desaturation, vignettes and haze. I'm glad someone is continuing to keep this format alive. They're doing a helluva job at it.
