Impossible Burger 2.0

According to this Engadget article, the folks at Impossible Foods are launching the 2.0 version of their Impossible Burger. The new version is made from soy protein instead of wheat, is textured even closer to real meat and provides the sustenance that many people claim veggie burgers do not.
I wish them the best of luck and will be supporting them in the most effective way I know how, by giving them my dollars.
"It has as much bioavailable iron and protein as the same size serving of ground beef, with 14 grams of fat and 240 calories per quarter-pound patty."The Impossible Burger is an interesting undertaking. As a vegetarian, I don't care if something "tastes like real meat." I assume many others don't as well. The trick is getting meat eaters to even try a non-meat alternative and understand the benefits. It's not really about the protein, or the texture, or the grill sizzle - it's about sustainability, environmental impact and animal cruelty. Getting people to care about that is an Impossible Task, for the most part.
I wish them the best of luck and will be supporting them in the most effective way I know how, by giving them my dollars.
