You wouldn't think a company named "MoneyDesktop" would have much useful insight in the ways of setting up Illustrator but
this article is pretty great. Maybe it's all pretty standard stuff but pushing yourself to use AIT templates as a jumping off point and focusing on shared swatches and library symbols seems like a best practice if there ever was one.
