I've been watching the new Vox season of Borders and particularly enjoyed this episode on The Decline of Hong Kong's Iconic Neon Glow; a little mini-documentary on the art of neon, the inevitable replacement of it with LED and the history of the city with both technologies.

Of course I wanted to see more examples of these lights after watching the episode. Fortunately, this NeonSigns.HK art installation does a phenomenal job of documenting the cities neon down to the geographical location. The photos aren't always crisp but they're consistently beautiful and amazing, regardless of their clarity.

Certainly a topic with diving further into it.
