Holedown

Over the past year or so my iOS gameplay has dropped significantly. Maybe it's the bevy of projects I have loaded myself up with or maybe I've just not been inclined to play anything when there's a world of NY Times articles to browse and fret about. For whatever reason, I've missed a lot of enjoyable recent options. However, Holedown recently came into my life and I'm enjoying the delightful distraction.

At the core, it's a slightly more complex, much better designed, version of Arkanoid. You shoot balls down at some blocks and if they hit said block enough times, they disappear. It's surprisingly fun and not as mindless as that description may make it sound.
