Recently,
Kory Westerhold posted an impressive gallery of images entitled
Gotham in Cinemascope that all stem from his experience with the
Sigma dp2 Quattro Digital Camera. I have never heard of said device prior to this gallery but I'm loving the ultra wide format and color palette (though that may be Kory's doing in post).
I, personally, can not imagine carrying around a secondary camera anymore as I've grown so accustomed to the convenience of my phone camera but this work certainly makes me stop and wonder if it might be worth it. Beautiful work,
