Friday Videos - June 17th, 2016

Fun fact: I'm home alone this weekend and plan to tear through a bunch of lingering freelance projects. That's right, when left to my own devices I decide to just work more. Super fun lifestyle, right? Let's hope this bears fruit for everyone in the near future. On to the distractions!

• Green Grassface - the cartoon from which this weeks cover art was taken. It's a bizarre little dance number that you just can't look away from.
• T-Rex on American Ninja Warrior - I should not enjoy this as much as I do but that floppy head is just too ridiculous not to generate a quality chuckle.
• How It's Made - Hot Dogs (with Sound Effects) - my inner 13-year old can't help but love this.
• Shane sings 5 Octaves on the Piano - it's not so much the strained singing that I love but his amazingly pained facial expressions.
• How to Fedora Flip - I shouldn't be surprised that there's a world of Fedora Tutorial videos on Youtube but I am surprised that there's a world of Fedora Tutorial videos on Youtube. Also, watch this (via Paul).
• dog_meme.avi - is it pandering? probably. do I care? Absolutely not.
• Midnight Haiti - I can't get enough of these dumb mashups.
• Heavy Breathing Cat - never forget.

I've also been diving into this archive of ridiculousness and this repository of misleading thumbnails and have been quite entertained.

Oh, and as a heavy handed reminder, scrounge up whatever pennies you can find this weekend and find a way to donate to Everytown. I'd love to not have another weekend filled with tragic gun violence news and the only way that's going to happen is by fueling an advocacy group with enough money that they can be a legit heavyweight in this absurd Second Amendment political bru-hah-hah we've been having.
