Friday Videos - Dec 11th, 2015
posted December 11, 2015 #
This time of year is always an anxious one for me. Lots of pending projects loom heavy as unfinished or neglected and the end of the year feels like the time to finish them. That's often easier said than done.
But I digress, here's some distracting videos to make your day easier.
But I digress, here's some distracting videos to make your day easier.
- Copy Complete - supercut of 70s, 80s, and 90s computer technology... copying files.
- Billy on the Street: Will Ferrell - the final confrontation is absolute gold.
- You're Not the Boss of Me Now - a very strange mashup of The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle and whatever weird stream of consciousness ideas came about to the creator.
- Skater Girls talk about Why They Love Boarding - among the girls featured is Lanna Apisukh, whom I work with now! Nice to see your new co-workers involved in something reflective and positive right out of the gate.
- Youtube Rewind 2015 - a look back at the year in Youtube. I don't include this for enjoyment purposes but, rather, total confusion. I don't get more than half of the references, which I think may be a good thing.
- Splitz Enz - "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" - not a new song but one that's come back around in my rotation recently that I've discovered a new found appreciation for. "The tyranny of distance, didn't stop the cavalier" is a great line.
- Electric Bugaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films - there were a lot of weird movies in the 70s and 80s that probably shouldn't have been made but Cannon Films went ahead with them anyway. This is their story. via Paul.
- Nick Offerman's Yule Log - 45 uninterrupted minutes of Nick Offerman having a glass of whiskey sitting by the fire.
