Friday Videos - Aug 2nd, 2019

Y'all, my Chris Gaines obsession is hitting critical mass. I bought a radio promo CD off discogs recently because it might contain a little known dub remix of one of the first Gaines singles. I don't really even care that much about the music but I'm continuously fascinated by the world surrounding it. I'm going to stick with this and see where it leads.

• Greg Phillinganes - Lazy Nina - this is a 1985 Soul Train performance of a song I've been obsessively listening to recently. Get into it.
• How is the Pizza Made - food photography tricks laid out in plain explanation. Fascinating. Never forget advertising is lying.
• Mindhunter: Season 2 - I don't get excited by much on Netflix these days but new Mindhunter is worth some anticipation.
• Twin Red Panda Babies - little palette cleanser here. Music is unbearable but, c'mon, look at these two!
• Keanu Reeves + Sesame Street Deep Fake - there was a Family Matters with Mike Tyson faces making the rounds a few weeks ago but I couldn't stand to share but this, this I can get into. Stare deep into the Keanu face; it's unnerving but also not entirely unbelievable.
• Opera Singers Dubbed with Dial-up Modems - never let it be said that the Internet doesn't still provide.
