Check out this short-but-sweet gallery of images of
Famous Photographers posing with their Iconic Images. It's always interesting to see the person behind the camera that is responsible for creating powerful images - often because they look exactly the opposite of what you'd expect (see: Karen Kuehn). It's a pleasant surprise and some worthwhile praise is due for those creating such impactful visions.
