If you've never seen the Paul Robertson / Ivan Dixon collaboration for The Simpsons intro, go watch it right now. Great, now you've got a basic understanding of the powerhouse of animation that they are capable of.
Next, go watch their new short film Elvis & Dimmi. There's an absurdly long scrolling intro but once the actual story kicks in, it's a real treat. As with many other Robertson pieces, there's a whole lot of absurd violence but it's so, literally, cartoonish that it's okay to let yourself enjoy it. In fact, the two protagonists of this particular story are complete assholes. There's nothing good to champion about them but their absurd adventure is certainly worth 12 minutes of your time.
