Merrick Morton recently worked on restoring a repository of one million crime scene photos that were sitting, lost, in a forgotten archive of the LAPD. The images are, obviously, occasionally gruesome but the nature of them feels like True Noir. I would love to see a whole lot more but I'll
take what I can get.
