Crave On - Ace On The Outspeaker

I hear a great deal of Nashville based music while curating the We Own This Town Music podcast and recently stumbled across the latest Crave On record, Ace on the Outspeaker. Who is Crave On? I had no idea but they've been releasing interesting records since 2016 and managed to fly entirely underneath my radar. Shame. The album itself is a fascinating blend of folk and krautrock. How these two things could manage to blend together in a way that isn't laughable absurd is beyond me but they did it. They really did it.

The album is streaming on Spotify and all the other usual spots, so I suggest looking it up. Start with "Ouroboros" or "Rust Under the Hood."
