Thanks to the master of bad movies I was exposed to the 1986 TV movie pilot known as Condor. The show pitch, featuring Ray Wise, Wendy Kilbourne and James Avery, tells the tale of a cop with an attitude (Wise) forced to work with a new cybernetic android assistant (Kilbourne) and their coming together to fight a crime syndicate in LA. You can read a rather in-depth review of it here but, honestly, don't spoil the surprises for yourself - just watch it on Netflix or Amazon and enjoy the retro special effects, the corny dialogue and brazen innuendos. Then ponder how it was never made into a full fledged series. Damn shame.
