The speed of the Internet probably makes this pretty old news by now but Colbert testifying at Congress is endlessly fascinating. He is, as usual, pretty on point with this sly commentary but I do have to question why he's even being asked to speak. It's a great comedy bit but it's not exactly a proper usage of taxpayer dollars to have a comedian come in as an expert testimony. The full Colbert Report episode concerning the shindig is available to watch but the testimony itself is entertaining enough in and of itself.
