Chris Sievey - Camouflage

The story behind this Chris Sievey music video is absolutely bonkers. Back in 1983, he programmed a music video for his song "Camouflage", exported it out to tape (remember, early computer disks used tape and audio signals) and then had that audio signal plated into vinyl. If you were extremely careful, you could capture that audio signal back to tape and run it through your ZX-81 to watch the video. As I said, bonkers.
This great youtuber was able to get a very clean copy of the video and if you told me someone made it today, I'd believe it. It's lo-fi but that ASCII style is still around and relevant today. Nice work Chris Sievey.. made quite a legacy for yourself.
