BS Zelda

Yesterday, my nerd quotient rose 100% upon discovering BS Zelda - a series of Zelda games that only, legitimately, existed as a timed broadcast from a short lived Broadcast Satellite subscription service available for the Super Famicon. There were four different broadcasts and, thus, four different games that, until yesterday, I had absolutely zero idea existed.

This BS Zelda fan site is pretty exhaustive in terms of materials to get familiar with but if you, like me, want your info fed to you in video form you should dive into this 16-Bit Gems Retrospective. It does a great job of explaining the whole Satellaview system, the Famicon add-on and all of the "lost" Zelda games that were available. I realize this isn't for everyone but it really got my inner nerd curiosity piqued at maximum levels.
