"Modern Feminist", the second single from Black Bra, is out today exclusively on Bandcamp (for now). This is actually the very first track I heard from the band way back when demos were first coming together. I've always been struck by the straightforward honesty of the lyrics; something frontwoman Beth Cameron has always excelled at but feels especially potent on this track. Do me a favor - and, in turn, yourself a favor - go listen to this song while reading the lyrics, I think it adds to the enjoyment.
